Order Cancellation Policy — CakesNearMe.in
Because our cakes and flowers are time-sensitive & perishable, we follow a clear, fair cancellation framework.
1) Standard Cancellation Window
- You may cancel within 60 minutes of placing the order if it has not moved to preparation or dispatch.
- Send your request immediately with your Order ID to support@cakesnearme.in.
2) Non-Cancellable Orders
- Same-day, early-morning, or midnight deliveries (processing begins right away).
- Customized/personalized products (e.g., photo cakes, printed mugs, engraved gifts).
- Orders already prepared, handed over to the rider, out for delivery, or delivered.
3) How to Cancel
Email: support@cakesnearme.in
Subject: Cancellation Request – Order #[YourOrderID]
Include: Order ID, name, phone, and a brief reason (optional).
We manually verify status and confirm eligibility via email.
4) Refunds for Cancelled Orders
- If approved, refunds are processed as per our Refund & Return Policy.
- Prepaid orders: Refunded to the original payment method; typical credit 3–5 working days (may take up to 7 depending on bank/gateway).
- COD orders (if applicable): Any approved amount is issued as Store Wallet Credit.
- Coupons/discounts are non-refundable; refunds apply to the net amount paid.

- Orders placed close to the chosen slot may enter prep quickly; once prep/dispatch begins, cancellation isn’t possible.
- For changes (time/address/message) before prep, we’ll try to help—subject to feasibility and slot availability.
